Wurstfest 2009

Marcel, Sierra, and I went to Wurstfest last night.  This is a German Festival held once a year in New Braunfels.  Lots of food and trinkets for sale as well as German-themed entertainment.  We caught  the Münchner Kindl Show,the Jubilee Polka Band, and best of all the Alex Meixner band (he is awesome!).

How much fun! Did Brave Combo play this year? I must go look at the website. I have never made it down for this festival. Is it crazy crowded?

Thank you :-) Yes, the entertainment was fabulous. I'm only sorry it was on a work night; it would have been great to have had a beer or two.

I don't think so. They had a slew in the lineup. We only saw three on Wednesday night though.

It was packed, but in a good way. :-)

The Marketplace (food/trinket stalls) and dance hall are indoors. There are rides outside as well as the Big and Little entertainment tents. It's quite a setup!
