PIckled Eggs

Fresh (less than a couple of weeks old) aren't easy to peel.  This pot took me the whole episode of Bones to peel!


I like spicy hot pickled eggs, but I thought I'd try the sweeter version make with beet juice.  I'll make spicy hot next time.  They have to sit in the fridge at least a week before tasting.  I like pickled eggs!

* Morning walk podcast:  All Things Medieval Podcast #7 (podcast notes and link to audio).  I like Sir Justyn - I've listened to every podcast he did from the start.  I know I am a nerd - no need to comment to remind me :-)

* Another OT day (came in 2.5 hours early), so this week I'll have over 10 hours total.  I wish I could spend it how I like; however, there's a long list of things waiting for my financial attention :-(

*  I brought cherry tomatoes with me to work, and apparently I forgot to rotate my supply because these are moldy - gah!!  Luckily I also brought fruit and other random snacks. 

* I enjoyed Larry King show last night.  I don't really love Carville, but he was good on this show.  Whomever that woman senator was is an idiot - how could she be there - her face on national TV - and justify Palin..... how embarrassing for her and the state that elected her.... :-)
